- On some calibrations, vehicles will require a DPF pressure sim to avoid having a "see dealer now" message in the driver info center. Unfortunately, due to constant changes from Ram, there is no way to track down what trucks will or will not need the pressure sim. For this reason it's recommended that you purchase it. There should be no negative effects if the sim is installed on a truck that doesn't actually require it
