238cc 80 / 100% performance injectors can increase horsepower up to 500 hp. 1999.5, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke
Hybrid 238cc performance injectors give more fuel and required less high pressure oil thanks to the hybrid plunger and barrel design of the injectors. Hybrid injectors are called "hybrid" because they use a larger plunger and barrel assembly from it's big cousin. This plunger has a larger surface area to move more fuel during the same stroke without needing more hpop oil pressure. These 238cc injectors in the 94-97 Ford Powerstroke will increase horsepower up to 500 hp at rear wheels with a custom performance chip. In the 99-03 Powerstroke diesel you will have to run a custom programmed chip to make the transition from split shot injection to the new single shot injection. Horsepower increases up to 500 hp and mileage increase from the more efficient single shot design.
These injectors have new nozzles and tungsten coated plungers and barrels. The larger nozzles allow for better control of fuel delivery during the combustion cycle with allows for the added horsepower over the stage one injectors. The larger hybrid plunger and barrel in these injectors move more fuel for the same stroke as the stage two injector. These hybrid injectors are designed to operate with stock High Pressure oil. This is optimal for the 17 degree HPOP. This saves money on a new HPOP system by utilizing the system you already have. Choose the nozzle for your new hybrids. The 80% with have lower smoke and similar power to 100% nozzle. The 200% Nozzle will make slightly more power but with added smoke at low RPM.Built and flowed to within 1% variation in fuel delivery for a balanced idle and superior performance. Please note- a custom tuned chip is required to make these injectors work properly in your truck. We recommend installing new glow plugs when installing injectors. Theses are easy to change at the same time as the injectors. However valve covers are reusable and should be fine unless the harness is damaged. Please note some of the other companies charge for bad parts on top of the sale price and do not use new plungers and barrels in their injectors. The days of "Clouds of Black Smoke" are behind us. We have partnered with a very reputable tuning company for the lowest/minimal smoke with modified injectors while maintaining optimal power output. Normal driving will yield very low smoke levels and very good power. Foot to the floor will make moderate smoke on the highest setting. Results of this custom tuning typically results in very good smoke control but smoke may vary. Tunes included are hi-idle, heavy tow, tow, street, hot street, and extreme. During the order process please indicate any further tune request you may need. HPOP, Transmission, etc. They will be custom written for each truck.
