About Us
OUR STORY STARTS WITH JACOB ZODY, CEO OF ZZ DIESEL
2012
Jacob graduated from Nashville Auto Diesel College in the spring of 2012 with a Technical Degree in Automotive and Diesel Technology.
ZZ Diesel was established in the fall of 2012 at the Zody family farm shop concurrently with Jacob's academic pursuits at Purdue University. Jacob began to work on vehicles along with the help from other classmates/friends while he was attending school.
2013
In 2013 ZZ Diesel hosted its first Truck Pulling Showdown in Converse, Indiana. This event would run until 2017. The company continued to grow and expand within the farm shop adding more employees and shipping products to customers nationwide.
2015-2016
ZZ Diesel began developing a web site in the spring of 2015
Jacob graduated from Purdue in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business Management as well as a Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
2017-2019
January 2017 ZZ Diesel purchased property on State Road 18 to eventually develop and build a new facility.
Major website development begins in 2019 including bringing aboard on-site website developers as well as part time employees for shipping.
2021-2023
Spring of 2021 ZZ Diesel breaks ground on new property on State Road 18Â north of Kokomo, IN.
Spring of 2022 ZZ Diesel moved into the new 30,000 SQ FTÂ modern facility which includes a new shipping and warehouse area, customer support office, and larger service center.
Summer of 2022 ZZ Diesel acquired its first CNC Mill to expand their development and product offerings.
Fall of 2023 ZZ Diesel acquired its first CNC Lathe expanding manufacturing.
