The 330 Ohm Sims will elevate the catalyst temperature to the highest safe limit within ECU programming. The causes DPF counter to slow down considerably but the truck will still go into regeneration.

Tech Notes:These items are for off-road, closed-course, race use only. There are no guarantees that these items will allow "code-free" operation.

On some calibrations, vehicles will require a DPF pressure sim to avoid having a "see dealer now" message in the driver info center. Unfortunately, due to constant changes from Ram, there is no way to track down what trucks will or will not need the pressure sim. For this reason it's recommended that you purchase it. There should be no negative effects if the sim is installed on a truck that doesn't actually require it.
