TurboGuard
It is important to allow your engine and turbo to cool down before shutting it off. With the TurboGuard cooldown feature you can turn the truck off and remove the key from the ignition and the truck will stay running. The TurboGuard can be EGT based or can be set with a timer. This allows the oil to continue to lubricate the engine and turbo while it is cooling off.
PowerIdle
The PowerIdle feature knows when to raise the idle to allow for proper engine lubrication and consistent engine temperature during extended idle times. This can help increase efficiency of your AC system or heater and is useful to systems that require extra electrical power to run accessories. PowerIdle is also a helpful feature for cold mornings when you need your truck to warm up quickly and maintain engine temperature while at idle.
