Thank you for investing in the ProMAXX® PowerPull™ series fuel injector removal tool. This device was engineered to quickly eliminate unnecessary steps of removing the fuel injector such as bolting the tool to and from the cylinder head or using a type of pry bar injector tool. It is machined from hardened steel to eliminate creeping, bending, cracking or overall failure. Its fit is precisely machined to close tolerances, unlike cast metal.
PowerPull™ Lift Kit (Includes the ProJack Screw, and ProFork). Remove fuel line(s) and connections from the fuel injector(s) as well as the injector hold-down bolt and fork. Place the PowerLift™ assembly fork under the fuel injector connector, sliding the fork over the parallel flat machined into the injector. Push the fork up tightly against the injector until it seats against the injector tube. Using a 3/8” drive ratchet with a hex socket attached, turn clockwise until the injector lifts free. For a more challenging injector removal, utilize both the PowerLift™ and optional PowerHammer™ assembly. While applying tension to the injector, tighten the PowerLift™ kit and add the PowerHammer™ kit. Remove it with quick action (shock) of the slide hammer.
PowerHammer™ Kit (Includes the Hammer, Slide, Acorn Nut, Impact Washer, ProDapter™). The ProDapter™ portion of the PowerHammer™ assembly shown above is designed to be used by itself, as an option, to remove the injector. Simply slip a small pry bar under the ridge of the ProDapter™ and apply leverage to remove it. For a more difficult injector removal, attach the ProHammer™ slide assembly to the ProDapter™.
